20 Weeks!

20 Weeks & 4 Days
HALFWAY THERE! With all the other blog posts this week, the update sort of took a backseat, and before I know it I'll be writing next week's. Therefore, this week's check-in will probably be pretty short and sweet! It's not the best picture to show off the tummy, but it was actually the best one we got. Lila just happened to make an appearance trying to get our attention. Between bad lighting and a rush to run errands, sorry!

This week was really exciting with so much happening. Learning our little Thumper is a girl, knowing everything is going healthy, and getting more of the nursery done has just made this a really busy week! So onto the update....

All About Baby! -- She (YAY!) is weighing about 10.2 ounces and is measuring around 6.5 inches long. Her taste buds are functioning and she's drinking several ounces of amniotic fluid each day.

How Momma is Feeling -- I'm surprisingly doing pretty well this week. I threw up Tuesday morning before the appointments, but I think it was more nerves and lack of sleep than anything else. Fatigue seems to be hitting me a little harder this week, but I've also been doing a lot more this week and pushing myself. My blood pressure was way down, I haven't gained any weight since sixteen weeks, and my tummy size is where it should be. All in all, I'd say Momma is feeling pretty darn good!

Cravings -- Pumpkin pie! I was at the grocery store today and just HAD to buy the ingredients so I can make it. It is most definitely on the to-do list for tomorrow :)

Highlight of the Week -- Easy, easy! Seeing our little angel on that screen and getting all those pictures of her face and her little feet and of course, finally being able to call her a "she" instead of an "it"! Oh, and I think we're narrowing down our names list (which we haven't decided if we'll share)!

Most Looking Forward To -- Two things. First, finishing the nursery. Right now, we have stuff at S's parent's house, our living room, our guest room, and stuff at my sister's that we'll be taking off her hands. I can't wait to just have it in one place. Second, getting down to my sister's and getting all my niece's baby clothes! I don't remember what is there so I'm so excited to look through it and hang it all in the closet, and get just a little more of a feeling that "oh my goodness, our daughter is really coming!"
