| 22 Weeks & 4 Days |
I don't know if it's the outfit or that it was first thing in the morning or just another week, but holy cow do I look so much bigger in this picture! I spent the morning going through pictures and organizing and I guess just plain nesting (organization and cleaning has become a number one priority lately). I looked back at my 11 week update and it's just amazing to see how big my belly has gotten. I've always had a complex about my look so some days it's a struggle, but I love knowing there's a little miracle growing healthy and strong in there!
All About Baby! -- She's now officially weighing in at about a pound (YAY) and is nearly eight inches long. Trust me, I believe that one -- sometimes I think she's stretching and can feel her hit and kick at the same time! She now has eyebrows, eyelashes, and maybe even some hair that I will be putting in bows shortly enough. She's also listening to all these new sounds around her like my heartbeat, my voice, and even hubby's voice!
How Momma is Feeling -- This week has been sort of rough. I think I'm recuperating from that "go-go" mentality I have and needing to relax more than usual. I'm also still having a really hard time sleeping with the leg cramps that are starting to get worse...but I'm still loving every minute! I sleep when I can, it just means a lot more naps.
Cravings -- I don't know that I've had any real cravings this week...I haven't been very hungry I suppose.
Highlight of the Week -- One day after work, Hubby and I were laying on the couch watching one of our TV shows. I put his hand on my tummy because Thumper was pretty active. All of a sudden his face lights up and he asked if it was her, and of course I say yes. He sat there for a few minutes just feeling her kick and kick then moved his arm to hold me. Well, she wasn't done and started kicking his elbow. She also did this one night when we were praying (where we hold our hands over my stomach) and it was like the two of them having an entire conversation. It was very cute and just made me smile so much...he's gonna be such an amazing daddy!
Most Looking Forward To -- Hubby is getting some vacation time in a couple weeks and I'm looking forward to being able to spend some time together - maybe take a day trip somewhere. My sister has also offered to make a faux Turkey Day dinner which has me salivating at the thought -- so I'm definitely making that one happen and looking forward to it!
