| 32 Weeks & 5 Days |
Anyway, I'm trying to wear the same shirt now every week since I'm just going from big to bigger. My prenatal appointment did get cancelled this week but I haven't been able to get in touch with them to reschedule it. Honestly, I just don't have the patience to sit on the phone for thirty minutes at a time waiting for someone to come on so I can ask a simple question. So I've decided to just wait until my 34 week appointment. At this point, I'm not experiencing any weird symptoms and it should have just been a short, routine appointment anyway. Hubby and I did go to Babies R Us this week once all the rain and wind cleared and we were able to get some of the things off our registry that we didn't get at the baby shower. Oh, and we bought diapers, lots of diapers, because they had a great deal -- and now I think we're ready for her to make an appearance!
All About Baby -- On average, they say babies are now about nineteen inches long and weighing around four pounds. I look at my stomach and I just don't understand how that many inches can fit inside there...I'd feel all cramped and want out too! She's practicing all those skill she'll need for when she does get out like swallowing, breathing, kicking, and sucking! She is also becoming less transparent now -- hooray!
How Momma is Feeling -- The past couple nights I've started to develop some hip joint pain. I'll lay on one side for a little while and then just get really sore so I'll have to shift. After a while, it will happen on the other side. I've been more tired lately too...I literally need at least an hour nap every day. I'm really thinking she's going through a growth spurt and looking at my stomach, it's not hard to believe.
Cravings -- I have wanted bowls and bowls of Cinnamon Life! It was all I ate for a couple days until Hubby decided I needed to have some actual protein and nutrients!
Highlight of the Week -- We went over to my in-laws for Halloween and little one's Pop finally got to feel her move! She's a little stubborn so she will rarely move when we want her to, but he did feel her! Also, as I was typing up this entry I realized that no matter how late she decides to make an appearance, I won't go longer than 42 weeks pregnant. That means that no matter how you look at it, there is only a maximum of ten weeks left before we get to meet her!
Most Looking Forward To -- Nothing in particular really. There are some projects I want to attempt to get done before Thumper gets here but I don't really have anything set in stone because of my unpredictable energy levels. I would love to have her nursery completely finished soon though because right now, it's looking like a bomb went off in there! oops!
I'm glad you made it through with your sanity in tact. I know how much you hate storms, especially monster ones.
